The Northwest Michigan Arts & Culture Network strengthens the arts by fostering meaningful connections across our region. Serving ten counties of Northwest Lower Michigan, we bring together artists, cultural organizations, creative businesses, community leaders, and partners to build a stronger, more connected arts and culture sector.
Our region is rich with creativity, but lasting relationships, shared knowledge, and collaboration are what allow our creative community to thrive. The Network exists to cultivate those connections, creating opportunities for people to learn from one another, work together, share resources, and build a stronger future for the arts.

What We Do
Our work is centered on strengthening the relationships that support a healthy arts ecosystem. We do this by:
- Convening artists, organizations, and community leaders through regional gatherings and peer learning opportunities.
- Building capacity through professional development, consultation, and shared resources.
- Connecting people with opportunities, partners, and information that help their work grow.
- Advocating for the value of arts and culture throughout Northwest Michigan.
- Strengthening collaboration across disciplines, communities, and county lines.
Whether we're hosting the Art & Culture Summit, facilitating a conversation over coffee, connecting two organizations with a shared opportunity, or helping an artist navigate a new challenge, our goal is the same: to strengthen the relationships that help our creative community flourish.
