Time: 10:00-3:00pm
Registration Deadline: October 18

Whether you are taking a once-in-a-lifetime trip or documenting close to home, having professional quality photographs of your surroundings will make your memories of times and places even sweeter. This class will teach you how to use your manual camera settings to make professional quality landscape photographs.
The first day of class will consist of a morning lecture that explains the basic functions of your camera, and how to best use light, ISO, aperture, white balance, and shutter speed for landscape photography. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to make some exposures and have questions answered about your individual camera and its settings.
For the second session, the class will view and discuss the exposures you made in the time between classes, followed by a photographic excursion to sites in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Any camera that has manual controls is suitable for this workshop.
