National Guild Community Conversations: Theater & Literary Arts
Description:
Community Conversations arose out of a response to COVID and will continue in this spirit of collaborative problem-solving as our field and the rest of the world navigate this crisis. They remain virtual “water cooler” chitchats, an open-ended dialogue for constructive sharing and co-learning.
Each Community Conversation will be lightly facilitated by a Guild staff member and is intended to inform future programming topics hosted by the Guild in more structured learning formats. They’re not recorded conversations, and the facilitator will only take light notes to share key points with attendees afterwards.
These conversations are open to all who work in Theater and/or Literary Arts organizations or provide Theater and/or Literary Arts programming. Guild membership is not required. Children, pets, plants, snacks and beverages are all welcome in your Zoom thumbnail square for this is relaxed get-together.
This Community Conversation will be held on select Thursdays. Conversation times will remain consistent on the following dates: 4/22/21; 5/20/21; 6/17/21. These Conversations will be extended beyond June 2021 based on collective interest.
If you are a member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education: Please make sure to sign up using the email that receives Guild communications. If you are having problems, please contact programs@nationalguild.org.
