Manistee Civic Returns to the Ramsdell
After a two-year hiatus, the Manistee Civic Players return to the Historic Ramsdell Theatre with their production of “You Know I Can’t Hear You When The Water’s Running” from April 28-May 1, 2022.
“You Know I Can’t Hear You When The Water’s Running” follows four-short comedic stories about couples and how their views on morality influences how they interact with each other and others. Directed by Tom Richert, Jackie Karnisz, and Carol Burba, each vignette offers laughs for the entire audience.
“The Civic Players are very happy to be producing our first show in over two years,” said Director Karnisz. “We are excited to bring this show to the Ramsdell stage.” Director Carol Burba, also known as “Christmas Carol,” will be directing one of the four vignettes titled “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” She stated, “How ironic is it that ‘Christmas Carol’ is directing the act titled “I’ll Be Home for Christmas?” “Surprisingly, it’s not all warm fuzzies.” Director Richert adds “Please enjoy and thank you for the return of LIVE theatre for MCP!”
Performances will take place at 7:30pm in the theatre on April 28, 29, and 30 and 2pm on May 1. For more information, visit RamsdellTheatre.org or call 231.398.9770.
