Jeff Garrett is a grant Program Manager and ADA 504 Accessibility Coordinator for the State of Michigan Arts and Culture Council. Previously, Jeff served as the Director of the Art School at the Flint Institute of Arts in Flint, Michigan. Mr. Garrett has tenured teaching experience in Michigan Public Schools and has been adjunct faculty at Vincennes University, Saginaw Valley State University, and Mott College. Before returning to Michigan, he was Head of the Art & Design Department at Crowder College where he served as President of the Faculty Association and was the recipient of the Neosho Chamber of Commerce, “Teacher of the Year” award in 2010. Jeff studied at Mott College and the University of Michigan-Flint, where he received a B.S. in Art Education as a Maize and Blue Distinguished Scholar. He earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Ceramics with Distinction from Indiana State University.
