Development Coordinator - Great Lakes Children's Museum

Working closely with the Executive Director, Board of Trustees, and Advancement Committee, the Development Coordinator will help:

  • Cultivate and steward donors and prospective supporters
  • Strengthen annual giving and donor engagement
  • Develop corporate sponsorships and community partnerships
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective donors and funders
  • Support donor communications, appeals, and impact stories
  • Engage board members in relationship-building and fundraising
  • Help prepare GLCM for a future capital campaign

Who are we looking for?

You might already work in nonprofit development—or your background might be in sales, business development, community relations, major gifts, or another relationship-focused field.

More important than a particular job title is your ability to connect with people, build trust, follow through, stay organized, and get excited about introducing people to our mission.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity for someone who wants to use their professional experience to make a meaningful impact on children, families, and the future of our community.

Compensation: $30/hour
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours/week with flexibility in scheduling
Location: Great Lakes Children’s Museum, Traverse City, Michigan
