Performing at Here:Say Storytelling- Story Tellers Wanted

What does it mean to tell a “first-person” story: You can say of your story, “This is an experience that happened to me.”

We’re listening.

The story you tell on stage centers on an experience that has always stayed with you. A story for the stage should have (1) a beginning, middle, and end, (2) something happening (doing something, not just thinking about/analyzing something), and (3) stakes, that is, something you stand to gain or lose.

How to pitch a story: Fill out the the Pitch Your Story form – don’t forget to select a theme from the dropdown menu and include your email address so we can write you back! Or, feel free to send an email to Kabie Stein, Here:Say Storytelling creative director, at kabie@heresaystorytelling.com.
