Calls For Art

Great Northern Art Explosion is an international juried fine art exhibition hosted annually by AuSable Artisan Village in Grayling, Michigan. As one of northern Michigan’s largest art events, the exhibition brings together artists from across the globe to showcase their work and compete for awards. With hundreds of submissions and thousands of visitors, Art Explosion has become a highlight of our cultural calendar.

Crooked Tree Arts Center - Petoskey is accepting submissions for the juried art exhibition Echoes: Revisiting Memory. Artists are invited to submit up to 3 works that engage the exhibition theme.

What does a day in your life look like in Charlevoix, MI?

We invite our entire community—all ages and skill levels—to capture the ordinary, the extraordinary, and everything in between for our community photo project and showcase, One Day in the Life. This is your chance to tell a story, share a moment, and share your unique perspective.

The GAAC’s Small Works Holiday Exhibition is a showcase of 2D + 3D work crafted by hand. Small, original art at affordable prices, $150 or less. This is a juried exhibit.

The Delamar Traverse City is thrilled to announce an open call for local artist submissions. After a highly successful pilot program with significant art sales and very engaged patrons, the Delamar has dedicated a team to select and host a solo exhibition of visual art in the expansive hallway just off the main lobby.  The space hosts visitors from around the world, as well as regional and local guests. 

The Holiday Artist Market is a vibrant two-day juried marketplace returning for its twenty-seventh year to The Dennos in Traverse City, Michigan. Held indoors in the museum's light-filled Sculpture Court and Milliken Auditorium entrance, this well-attended fine art and craft event brings together Michigan-based artists, enthusiastic holiday shoppers, and a community that celebrates creativity and craft.  Taking place over a Friday and Saturday, November 6th and 7th, the event showcases 28-30 carefully selected booths.  Admission and parking are free to all, and the event is enriched by special programming and our beloved raffle, encouraging guests to linger, explore, and shop.
