The Northwest Michigan Arts & Culture Network is offering professional development sessions focused on essential business practices, including legal considerations, marketing, and bookkeeping. At the same time, Crooked Tree Arts Center is hosting in-person workshops in Petoskey that dive into the practical and creative aspects of being a professional artist, from photographing your work and building digital portfolios to writing compelling artist statements and mastering the art of critique.

Learn how to manage digital images for online portfolios and submissions, and to find calls for entry and other exhibition opportunities. File formats, file sizes, cropping, compressing, file naming, are among the topics we will address.
