NW MI Arts & Culture Network

Kristi Wodek, Education and Outreach Director in Traverse City, joined CTAC in Fall 2017.  She is responsible for the educational programs for CTAC-Traverse City, workshops, lectures, and special events. Additionally, she is responsible for the Art Fair and Merry Makers Marketplace, Youth Art Show, and Creation Station educational components to complement exhibitions. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Studio Art with emphasis on ceramics.  Kristi later went on to study Art Therapy at Wayne State University. Her professional experience includes serving as education coordinator for Paint Creek Center for the Arts, teaching at Flint Institute of Arts, Macomb Art Center, Paint Creek Center for the Arts, Chaska School District, and Traverse City Area District Schools. She serves on the board of the Northwest Michigan Arts and Culture Network.

Kristi also serves on the advisory committees for the Visual and Communication Arts program at Northwestern Michigan College, and the TBAISD Career-Tech Center graphic arts program.
