New School Minigrants Available
Funds for Arts Education Supplies, Equipment & Field Trips
New for FY21. Northwest Michigan Arts & Culture Network as the MCACA Region 2 Regrant Agency, is now administering MCACA minigrants available to schools to offset costs for art supplies, arts equipment and bus transportation for arts and cultural field trips. Applications are now open and will be processed on a rolling basis until funds are depleted. Applicants must be schools – including accredited PreK-12 public, non-public, and private schools, home school, local and intermediate school districts, regional educational services agencies and accredited Head Start programs. Minigrants include: Arts Education Supplies & Equipment, up to $1,500 Bus Tranportation Grants for Arts & Cultural Excursions, up to $500 Link to guidelines above or for more information visit the Network website. Please share these opportunities with your community schools and those who could visit or partner with artists and organizations offering these experiences.
Final Report Deadlines Approaching 9/30
A quick reminder that MCACA final reports for the past year (FY20) are due on 9/30/20 unless you received an extension or other COVID related modification. All final reports will be submitted to mcaca.egrant.net (not Smart Simple) using your e-grant password and log-in. This will be the last time e-grant is used.

For those who applied for MCACA grants or minigrants – no date has been set yet for FY21 grant award announcements, traditionally made in September/October. Notification will be made as soon as available.
