Advocacy Alert, Tools
As Congress continues debating aid packages, advocacy for arts and culture is needed at the local, state and national level. We have all been enormously impacted by COVID-19. Americans for the Arts is sharing information and resources as is the Cultural Advocacy Network in Michigan. All are valuable. (see links) However, personal stories and outreach to our elected respresentatives and community leaders sharing the personal impact of COVID and need to include artists, arts and culture in aid is so important and much more impactful at the personal level. The network website shares several tools to locate elected officials as well as tools to reach out and share your stories. See www.nwmiarts.org (Advocacy)
How Shall We Meet, Learn & Share?

As COVID-19 continues to impact all of us and our programs, please help the Network re-envision how we present and plan future Summits as well as workshops, best practice roundtables or other gatherings – virtual or in person – during the year ahead. This is a very short, three-minute survey. Please participate. Thank you!
