MACC meets 9/22Michigan Arts & Culture Council will be holding its September Council Meeting on Friday, 9/22, 1-4 pm at th,e Holland Area Arts Council (150 E Eighth St, Suite 200, Holland, MI 49423). Meeting is open to the public in person or by Zoom (Zoom link here, meeting ID 884 5441 9330). Meeting notice/agenda here Agenda includes the FY24 Funding Plan. When approved by the Council, the list of all FY24 grant awards will be available on-site and online at the end of the meeting. Minigrants will be announced separately by 9/25. GIG Fund Apps OpenArts Midwest is accepting applications for the GIG Fund. Organizations can apply for a grant of up to $4,000 to support programs and activities featuring professional artists. Events can take place anytime between November 2023 and July 2024. New this year: a) limited to orgs with less than $1-million budgets & b) priority to those not funded in past 2 years. Intent to apply due 9/21. More info here. |
