Michigan Arts & Culture Council will be announcing its FY24 grant awards this Friday, 9/22, during its quarterly council meeting slated for 1-4pm at the Holland Area Arts Council. Attendance is open to the public in person or by Zoom. Funding plans by grant program and by county will be available immediately after the meeting concludes on the MACC website. For those who applied for Minigrants for FY24 – either Minigrant Projects or PODs (Professional & Organizational Development) – funding decisions will NOT be listed in the MACC posted funding plans. Minigrant decisions will be shared by email to the applicants as quickly as possible, anticipated to be Friday evening 9/22 or Saturday morning, 9/23. The Network is collaborating with Northwest Michigan College on its first NMC EES NoMi Art Bus Tour, slated for Tuesday, 10/3 to Benzie County with stops at Oliver Arts Center, The Garden Theater, Stormcloud Brewing, Peggy Hawley’s studio and Michigan Legacy Art Park, along with a talk with the Benzie Historical Society.
