Gig Fund Opens Round 2

Applications are now open for the second round of its GIG (Grow, Invest, Gather) Fund grants. Grants are $2,500 to bring touring performances to communities. Call for Art: Basement Art Show, 7/25

Basement Art Shows are returning in person August 1-31 in downtown Traverse City. “Pop the Bubble” celebrates the slow return to normalcy, suppressed anxiety and coming out of hiding. All mediums. LGT Due 7/16

Applications for the 2021-22 class of Leadership Grand Traverse are now open. Traverse Connect is offering up to 4 Creative Coast scholarships offsetting 90% of tuition for artists, arts & cultural administrators and those working in the creative sector. Rising Leaders Apps Open

MCACA is accepting applications for its 2021-22 Rising Leaders cohort, a rigorous and highly interactive personal development initiative committed to the advancement of Michigan’s arts leaders and sharing tools to create communities and a state where everyone can experience and express creativity in daily lives. Minigrant Webinars, Consults

Deadline is 8/3 for the FY22 MCACA Minigrants administered by NW MI Arts & Culture Network. During the past year, the Network awarded $56,480 in MCACA minigrants to 23 organizations. Guidelines and resources are on the Network site or join our webinars and drop-in zoom sessions. Sessions are coming up: 7/12, 23, 26 & 30 at 11am. Zoom link here.
