Minigrant Benefits McLaren, MI Artists

McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation just posted this photo on Facebook thanking donors, including the Network for its MCACA minigrant which helped fund artwork for McLaren’s new hospital wing currently under construction. ” We are so excited for the opening of the new hospital wing later this summer. All of e pieces are coming together….. the new wing will feature all Michigan-made art! Framer, Bruce White, was recently here picking up some larger paintings to prepare them for installation. Thank you for helping us create a beautiful, healing environment for our patients.” (Art peeking out of box is work by Elk Rapids artist Lindy Bishop DIngeman, slated to hang in the new wing’s lobby)
This was projectone of 20 MCACA minigrants the Network awarded during the past year. Watch for more spotlights as the FY21 minigrants take shape. Interested in applying for an FY22 minigrant? Link here for info and webinar schedule. Deadline is 8/3.
