Join the Northwest Michigan Arts & Culture Network for a socially distanced gathering outdoors under the trees at the Michigan Legacy Art Park. Drop by for a few minutes or the entire time. This is a chance to connect in person in an informal and safe outdoor setting. Invite friends and colleagues. Join us, share your news and learn more about what’s happening in the Network, including our new memberships.

Join the Network and Americans for the Arts in celebrating and raising awareness for the importance of supporting arts and culture in education. AFTA offers many resources online including its Five Ways to Partner resource guide, Arts in Education Social Media Guide, the Arts Education Action Kit, and the Arts Educator Navigator. Links are also be available on the Network’s Tools page at www.nwmiarts.org/tools/ 

Supporting arts in education during the school year – MCACA minigrants are available to offset costs for art supplies, arts equipment and bus transportation for arts and cultural field trips. Applicants must be schools – accredited PreK-12 public, non-public, and private schools, home school, local and intermediate school districts, regional educational services agencies and accredited Head Start programs. 
Arts Education Supplies & Equipment, up to $1,500
Bus Tranportation Grants for Arts & Cultural Excursions, up to $500
