Minigrant Projects at Work in Northwest Michigan

Northwest Michigan Arts & Culture Network is the Region 2 Partner for Michigan Arts & Culture Council’s Regional Regrant program, serving the ten counties of Northwest Michigan – Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee & Wexford counties. During the past year, the Network awarded $55,480 in MACC minigrant awards to 23 grantees.

Minigrants support a range of projects in schools, communities and organizations – ranging from enrichment programs for children to public art installations, civic theatre to open air community concerts, historical displays to new works by authors, musicians and filmmakers. The scope is vast as are the creative talents who bring them to life and the community residents of all ages who benefit.

See the spotlights below for an example of our Minigrants at work throughout Northwest Michigan.
