Messiah Concert by the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra
Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra presents its popular annual performance of Handel’s Messiah on Thurs. Dec. 15th and Fri. Dec. 16th. The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra Chorus and guest soloists, led by Director André Strydom, will join the orchestra led by GLCO Conductor and Music Director Libor Ondras.
The concert includes Saint-Saëns’ “Oratorio de Noel” and portions of Handel’s famous “Messiah” oratorio, ending with the celebratory Hallelujah Chorus.
Each event will feature a post-concert reception with light refreshments and cash bar.
Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra is a non-profit organization headquartered in downtown Petoskey. Tickets from $35 – $65 are available at www.glcorchestra.org. The concert is free for veterans, active service members and students 18 and under by calling 231-487-0010.
