Wild Impressions Exhibit

Oliver Art Center is pleased to feature work by Andrew Jagniecki to kick off 2026 in our Fisher Room gallery. Andrew’s masterful printwork celebrates the quiet beauty of our local landscape, the subtle humor or unique personalities of the animal kingdom, or shares down-to-earth impressions of our own everyday world. Andrew has a knack for working at both large and miniature scales, and is at home in either; no matter the size of the print, the attention to detail and the harmonious balance of color is exceptional.

Andrew Jagniecki is a West Michigan artist residing near Onekama, Michigan and is an Oliver Art Center Teaching Artist. Andrew has participated in regional, national, and international shows. Shows of distinction have been the Grand Rapids Art Prize, the Muskegon Museum of Art Regional Show, the Midland Area Art Show, “The Print” at the Ann Arbor Art Center, Kyoto International Print Exchange in Kyoto Japan, Gualan International in Gualan China, Art Prize and the Durango Art Center. Andrew earned a BFA in Fine Art from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. While at GVSU, Andrew studied and worked as the assistant with well-known printmaker Takeshi Takahara. Andrew also studied in the Graduate Print Program at the University of Iowa under the direction of Mauricio Lasansky.

Join us for an opening reception of “SPECTRUM” and “Wild Impressions” January 9th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Refreshments will be served, all are welcome to attend.
