Rhodes + Stagnitta

This program will include two massive sonatas by German composer, Reinecke, and Prokofiev, Russian; along with beautiful, exotic works by Frank Martin, Swiss; Philippe Gauber, French; and Americans Samuel Barber and jazz icon, Bob James.

TC Philharmonic Principal Flutist, Nancy Stagnitta, celebrates her 20th anniversary season with the orchestra. She will join Maestro Rhodes for a concert of masterworks for Flute and Piano. Ms. Stagnitta has been one of the undisputed stars of the orchestra and has been featured in the Mozart Flute and Harp Concerto, and more recently David Amram’s massive Giants of the Night concerto
