Beethoven Trio in D Major, No. 1. “Ghost” Shostakovich Piano Trio No. 2 in E Minor. Our new TC Philharmonic Center has been made possible in part by an incredibly generous gift by Michigan State University Federal Credit Union’s Foundation, the “Desk Drawer Fund.” Maestro Rhodes, a graduate of MSU, felt it would be wonderful to celebrate this partnership and gift from the MSUFCU by inviting some of the MSU faculty to perform. Our longtime soloist emeritus, pianist Ralph Votapek, will be joined by cellist Suren Bagratuni, fondly remembered from past appearances with the orchestra in Dvorak and Shostakovich concertos. We warmly welcome violinist Yvonne Lam to our stage.
