'Lake Huron Mermaid' Book Launch

Who doesn’t love mermaids? And now that the LONG-AWAITED Lake Huron Mermaid has arrived, you are invited to the Lake Huron Mermaid book launch, Thursday, November 21, 6:00-7:30. Botanic Gardens Visitor Center (the old granary), second floor, 1490 Red Dr, Traverse City. 

The Lake Huron Mermaid, sister book to the award-winning Lake Michigan Mermaid, co-authored by Anne-Marie Oomen and Linda Nemec Foster, continues the saga of the Great Lakes Mermaids. Here is the story of two sisters caught in an impasse during the pandemic—confused, afraid, and daring—guided by a mermaid also in search of a sister. The event is free and open to the public. A brief presentation, light fare, and beverages provided. Please join us! The authors will be signing the mermaid book at the November 21 launch and also at Horizon Books at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 23.
