Opening Reception Thursday July 24 @ 5pm at Alluvion Arts.
Curated by Jorge Iván Cevallos of Ecuador on the concept of Indigenous history and identity. This traveling collection of artwork features over forty artists from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama and Peru. It also includes several indigenous artists from the US and Michigan; Darryl Brown, Paul Sinclair, Janelle CourTurier Dahlberg, Scott Hill, Ronald J. Paquin, Paula McNamara & Clyde Hart. On view throughout the first and second floors of Commongrounds until August 31st.
Alluvion Arts will also host a weekend of artist workshops with Gold Leaf Application Intensive on August 2nd from 9-3pm and the Alchemy of Color on August 3rd from 9-1pm
