Community Clay Workshops: Cupcake Jar

What would you hide inside a cupcake? Come find out in this sweet and creative family clay workshop! We’ll start by building the cupcake base using slab-building techniques to form the “cake.” Then, we’ll wrap and stack clay coils to create a swirly, textured “frosting” on top. Once your cupcake is built, you’ll have the chance to decorate it any way you like — add sprinkles, patterns, or even a hidden surprise inside! To finish, we’ll give our cupcakes a fabulous paint job to make them look almost good enough to eat.
