Cheboygan Chamberfest 2024 - Evren Ozel

American pianist Evren Ozel made his debut at age eleven with the Minnesota Orchestra. Now 23, he has established himself as a virtuosic soloist and chamber player. Evren will present a program called “Music of the Night,” featuring works by Beethoven (the Moonlight Sonata), Debussy, Bartok, Schumann, and finally the exciting and demanding “Gaspard de la nuit” by Ravel. It is considered one of the most technically difficult pieces in the standard piano repertoire.
