Artist-In-Residence Talk: T.J. Schwartz

The Glen Arbor Arts Center continues its 2024 artist’s residencies with Michigan artist T.J. Schwartz. Schwartz will use this time to continue work on mixed media clay sculpture. Schwartz will talk about her project during a public presentation August 22, 10 am. The presentation is free. Schwartz combines clay with textiles, and other needle-worked fibers. “I still want to work in the mediums I have been using, fibers and ceramics, while in residence. I would like to explore their relation together within the language and appearance of my work. Most of my exploration will be centered on the form of my work (2-d vs 3-d, wall vs pedestal).”
