Artist-In-Residence Talk: Elyse Durham

The Glen Arbor Arts Center continues its 2024 artist residencies with Michigan writer Elyse Durham. She will use this time to continue work on her second novel, Heaven On Earth. Durham will talk about her project during a public presentation October 3, 10 am. The presentation is free. “Many writers get stuck on their second novels,” Durham said. “Luckily, I know from previous experiences that residencies bear significant fruit in my work. Having a residency at this crucial moment in my career will help me keep up my momentum on my second book and avoid the ‘sophomore slump.’ ”
