Alcohol Ink Painting Class

Featuring Barbara McKenna, who will share what she has learned, mostly through trial and error, about alcohol inks and how they behave (or don’t!). She will demonstrate applying the inks and alcohol to synthetic paper, moving them around, and hunting for an image to emerge as they dry. Then, she will demonstrate her methods for adding details to enhance the image's definition. She also plans to demonstrate how to use a masking medium to create a sharp outline to part of the painting. Because alcohol inks can be so unpredictable, who knows what the results will be?
