A Thought About Supporting Creativity and Handwork
The Small Works exhibit offers people a chance to give gifts of creative handwork. “So what,” one might say. But the “so what” of it all is this: In a world of mass-produced stuff, each one of the items in the Small Works show is unique; it injects a little beauty into the world and homes of the people who receive them. These objects represent something thoughtful – both in the maker, and the giver.
