Interlacements brings together nine distinguished Michigan-based artists who work in fiber arts. Through the work of these nine artists, a range of fiber art practices are explored. Natural fibers, synthetic materials, and found objects are manipulated through traditional fine craft and contemporary fiber techniques, honoring this ancient medium through contemporary voices and artistic expression.
